Artist's words:

"This artwork was a lot of fun to create, for me it's a party on a canvas! Explosive meets calm, shooting stars, elements created, hidden depths, energy converting from one form to another.

The movement, shapes and textures of this artwork are not the only reason it is called 'The Big BANG!' but also because of its retro colour palette. The soft lilac and gold contrasting with the punchy turquoise and neon orange are a palette reminiscent of an 80s fabric print for me. Not forgetting it was within this same decade that Stephen Hawkin released his book 'A Brief Moment in Time'. Perhaps a nod to a great mind. An imperfect collision of colour."

The colours in this artwork are both warm (gold) and cool (lilac), making it ideal for a room where both warm and cool colours exist.
