Ballerina | Original Art Painting

330

Sometimes creativity calls us to look at the negative space before finding the beauty within the positiveI am inspired by sound as much as sight, as a 19-year-old, first-year at the National College of Art & Design (NCAD) in Dublin, in 2001, I was introduced to Van Morrison’s second album ‘Astral Weeks’ (released 1968). My mind was blown as my ears were introduced to musical texture and experimentation.

Can you see how the ballerina swirls, and twirls, creating patterns and shapes in their wake?
